What’s your work style? Early morning, late at night? All at once, bits at a time?
I prefer to create art in the afternoon… but I find I have to work anytime inspiration hits.
Who are some of your creative idols?
Wes Anderson, Edward Gory, Tim Burton
Where does your inspiration come from?
I get a lot of ideas and inspiration from books and stories from my childhood.
What are you working on right now?

What mediums do you like to work with? What medium would you like to use in your next children’s book?
My medium of choice is paper cut art. I have been experimenting with cutting different types of paper as well as painting the paper with watercolors. I would love to do another book using paper cut art and adding color to the images.
What’s your favorite picture book, besides your own, of course?!
My all time favorite picture book is Goodnight Moon.
